Below are the main active tools and implementations through which the scientific community can access, query, and manage the data stored within INAF’s infrastructure:
TAP (Table Access Protocol):
The standard IVOA protocol used to query astronomical table archives. It allows for the execution of complex queries in ADQL (Astronomical Data Query Language), facilitating data extraction and analysis directly from our databases.
VOSSIA:
A framework dedicated to service integration and interoperability, designed to harmonize access to distributed resources within the INAF network.
VOSpace:
A distributed storage solution compliant with the IVOA standard, which allows users to manage storage space in a flexible and persistent manner, facilitating the transfer and sharing of datasets across different applications.
GMS (Group Management Service):
The centralized identity and access management service, which ensures secure authorization and granular control over shared resources, integrated with the Institute’s authentication systems.
