We announce the the second General Assembly of the INAF Central Scientific Computing Unit\u00a0<\/strong> (USC-C).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is primarily meant to highlight that\u00a0 the deadline for submitting abstracts has now been delayed to:<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/path><\/svg><\/span> 22nd\u00a0February 2026<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

event time and location<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will take place\u00a0 \u00a0from the 9th to the 13th of March 2026 at the SAVOIA Excelsior Palace\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0in the seashore of Trieste city centre.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Please note that the deadline for the ensured availability at an agreed price of the rooms at the venue of the congress has now already passed. Of course, you can now\u00a0book the accommodation directly with the Savoia Palace at the market price\u00a0or check for an alternate accommodation. Trieste offers several options and the website devoted to the event (see below) reports other suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’assemblea offrir\u00e0 una grande opportunit\u00e0 per incontrare tutte le persone INAF coinvolte nelle varie tematiche legate ai dati e alle tecnologie informatiche, cos\u00ec come tutte le persone INAF coinvolte nella progettazione, distribuzione, gestione e supporto delle infrastrutture, degli strumenti e dei servizi digitali per tutto il personale delle diverse strutture INAF. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sono altres\u00ec in programma parecchi several lectures.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parallel sessions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondo consolidata tradizione, l’assemblea ospiter\u00e0 anche \u00a0series of parallel sessions\u00a0<\/u><\/em><\/strong> dedicated to the\u00a0<\/em> administrative staff<\/u><\/em><\/strong>focused on organizational topics, budgeting, and in general on the digitalization of public administrations and on the challenges related to the development of new management systems, and the use of those already acquired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
